No matter how courteous Roger Federer was off the court, every opponent dreaded him on the court. With his effortless and aggressive playing style, he has taken down his rivals even in the most challenging matches. No matter how many injuries he faced, Federer always held his composure. However, good music and good acting knew how to make Federer emotional as he went through a tearing journey while watching a particular Broadway show.
The show hit the theatres back in 2015 and Federer was quite excited to lighten up his mood. What he did not know was that he will have to brace himself for an emotional roller-coaster ride.

The Swiss Maestro won 20 Grand Slam titles during his glorious tennis career. During his 22 years on the court, he faced many challenges, but he always tried his best to not get swayed by his emotions. However, this would not be the case when he watched the broadway show ‘Finding Neverland’ by Allan Knee and James Graham, in 2015.
Federer went to see the renowned musical show with his family. Along with his wife Mirka, his four kids, Myla Rose, Charlene Riva, Lenny, and Leo were also there. So, when they saw their father crying, they got worried. However, Federer explained himself and said, “I couldn’t control myself. They were asking me, ‘What’s wrong with you, Dad?'”, according to a report by Page Six.
What is even more fun is the fact that the star of the show, Matthew Morrison, later told the Swiss Maestro, “Now I have to come to see you perform.”
Seeing a teary-eyed Federer is definitely not a dream. But apart from this show, the fans were heartbroken to see Federer cry during his retirement at the Laver Cup last year.
