However, sometimes, the dose of love gets a little too extreme to handle. Recently, fans of Djokovic made it to the headlines for a rather hilarious reason.

Novak Djokovic fans take over West Ham post
Tuesday, the 26th of July, giant soccer club, West Ham United took to its Twitter handle, putting up a Tweet. Known as one of the most fan interacting soccer clubs, the Tweet was a game for the fans called ‘Can you guess who?’ With the mentioned caption in place, the tweet had a silhouette photo of one of the soccer players holding a football.

Putting up the Tweet, the club expected its fans to come up with the names of different soccer players. However, what happened next left the entire club in shock. Coming across the Tweet, fans of Novak Djokovic asserted the player in the photo being him. With the assertion in place, the post took no time in being hijacked by Djokovic’s fans.

Going through the comments, a fan wrote, “Genuinely looks like Novak Djokovic.” Being prominent in their approach, another fan replied to the comment by saying, “about to say the same thing.”
While the two fans called Novak Djokovic the person in the photo, the third fan opted to go a step further. As mentioned earlier, Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest players of all time. However, a fan opted to question the entry of one of the biggest tennis stars into soccer. Commenting on West Ham’s tweet, the fan wrote, “Novak Djokovic signing for West Ham?”
Digging deeper into the comments sections, a fan of West Ham came up with the right answer, calling the photo a silhouette of the club’s midfielder, Declan Rice. However, despite the right answer, fans replied to it with GIFs of the current World No.7.
