The Wimbledon finalist along with his compatriot, Thanasi Kokkinakis, was recently featured in a press conference after the Nitto ATP Finals match. During the conference, they talked about their performances in the doubles event of the ATP Finals. Meanwhile, one of the journalists talked about the affection and love of the children towards the Australian tennis stars, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis.
However, Kyrgios provided the media with a rude answer by saying, “We are really bad role models. We’re bad for the sport.” A plethora of children recently attended Kyrgios and Kokkinakis’ training session as they were excited to see the Australian tennis duo. As a result, the journalist Kyrgios how he felt after many children attended his training session. However, Kyrgios went on to say “No one loves watching us play. We’re not crowd are favorites. We’re just negative people.”

He was also told that he is an idol for many children as they love his performances on the court. But, Kyrgios stated, “I don’t think that statement was correct by you. No one was there to watch us play today.”
Kyrgios’ performance at the Nitto ATP Finals
The Wimbledon finalist along with his compatriot, Thanasi Kokkinakis has teamed up for the doubles event of the Nitto ATP Finals. A plethora of fans are excited to witness the exciting duo of Australian tennis stars at the event. However, Kokkinakis and Kyrgios didn’t get the best start to the tournament. They were defeated in the first group stage match of the event in Turin.

The tennis duo of Neal Skupski and Wesley Koolhof beat the Australian team up of Kokkinakis and Kyrgios. However, with their brilliant performance in the second group match, Kokkinakis and Kyrgios defeated Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek. The Australian tennis duo will now play against the Croatian team of Nikola Mektić and Mate Pavić.
