Sitting inside his mommy’s lap, baby Rafael’s expression surely gave fans one more reason to enjoy this live tennis match by Netflix.

Nadal welcomed his baby boy in October 2022 with his wife Mery Perello. It was in June of that year when he announced his wife’s pregnancy and fuelled his fans’ excitement about this new chapter in his life. Now fans spotted this adorable little bundle of joy and his cute expressions during his father’s match against Carlos Alcaraz.

Recently, a tennis fan shared a clip on X (formerly Twitter) where fans spotted baby Rafa looking at the camera and trying to show his mommy something from her lap. sharing this short clip, this fan wrote- “I am obsessed with this short clip of Mery and Jr. I love baby Rafa’s expressions! And I can’t stop laughing because at first I thought Genie was talking to Mery & Mery was ignoring her until I realized there was someone behind Mery that Genie was talking to.”

After this video was posted on X (formerly Twitter), it stormed social media as fans couldn’t get over the adorable face of Nadal’s baby boy. This is also because this time fans had a great glimpse of this cute bundle of joy since Nadal likes to keep his personal life private. Now that Rafa Junior is finally attending his father’s matches, fans can’t help but drop numerous “aww” reactions to the clip.

Fatherhood is a great moment in anyone’s life and Nadal was not an exception to that. At least his statement expressed his joy about welcoming his child with his wife Merry. Nadal said- “I would love to have children: boys, girls… I’m a person who loves kids and I’m a family guy. But also I tell you that the reality is, the years keep passing, I would like to start to do all of this when my sporting life determines it, I think it’s also above all about looking after the kids. I don’t know if it [traveling] throughout the year and having children] is ideal.”

After dominating the court for years, Nadal’s entry into fatherhood represented that he was also a family man. Along with his tennis dedication, he is showing a great example of fatherhood.
