World No.1 Novak Djokovic is currently under quarantine at one of the hotels in Adelaide. He recently broke in the news for submitting a list of demands to Tennis Australia regarding quarantine protocols. By this, the Serbian player drew a lot of backlash and many fans didn’t like his action.
However, recently, he has once again won the hearts of tennis fans, especially of two young Adelaide boys. These two boys started playing tennis on the road which is next to the hotel where Djokovic is staying. It really became a sight to watch as the two were playing in order to get a glimpse of the World No.1 player.

Djokovic didn’t disappoint the boys and came on his balcony. The Serbian player was reading a book at that time but didn’t forget to appreciate the two boys. He even had a short chat with both of them.
It was surely a special moment for both the boys. One of them even called it ‘crazy’ because perhaps they didn’t think that a thing like this would ever happen to them.

Novak’s sweet gesture not only helped him win the hearts of fans but the father of one of the boys revealed that his son would cherish that moment forever.
“Thank you Djokovic. My son and his friend loved it. Both are huge fans and tennis is their love. They will cherish this moment forever. You’re an amazing role model for the next generation of tennis players. Wishing you every success in your tournaments here in Australia,” wrote the father on Twitter.

It was certainly a great gesture by Djokovic. He’ll soon be beginning his 2021 campaign at the ATP Cup 2021 before playing at the Australian Open 2021. Will Djokovic be able to defend his title in Melbourne this year?
