Tennis fans sitting in stands often come to enjoy seeing their favorite players play. However, there are some lucky fans, who get to interact with the players on the court, often receiving kind gestures from them.
A similar fan moment happened this morning when Nick Kyrgios accidentally hit an 8-year-old kid sitting in the stands. As the kid started crying, Nick ran towards him, showing a benevolent gesture to bring him ease.

The stadium turned loud in cheer, appreciating Kyrgios’s act.

Even though Kyrgios lost in the second round of the singles draw at the Australian Open 2022, he has kept his hopes alive in the men’s doubles draw. Partnering with Thanasi Kokkinakis, the two have shown some excellent team skills, having a successful run in the tournament so far.

25th January, Thanasi/Kyrgios were set to take on Puetz/Venus in the Quarter Finals. It was Kokkinakis’ serve when Nick Kyrgios accidentally hit a kid sitting in the stand. Even though he immediately apologized to the kid, the fan started crying. Feeling sorry for his act, Kyrgios went to his bag and took out one of his racquets.

He ran towards the stands, giving that racquet to the kid as a sign of apology. The crowd made a loud noise in appreciation for Kyrgios. The World No. 115 then went back to the court and continued the game.
