Austrian tennis star Dominic Thiem has been a sorely missed face on the ATP tour since June 2021. Thiem had retired from his Round of 16 Mallorca Open clash following a wrist injury. Sadly, the injury also ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Because of his lengthy absence, the 17-time ATP singles title winner dropped 10 places on the rankings, too. Things are set to change, however, as he looks ready to return to the court. The 28-year-old will be returning at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
