How often do you witness a tennis star being concerned for the well-being of his/her fans? Carlos Alcaraz was just a kid when he had a dream of making it to the top ranks of tennis. Even after conquering a huge part of his dream at an early age, the Spaniard never really forgot being a kid with dreams and therefore values the young ones who follow him. As he stepped into the courts of Cincinnati, the world got to witness a glimpse of his adorable nature.
Carlos Alcaraz decided to take some time off the competition after his Paris Olympics defeat against Novak Djokovic. Although he had to miss the ongoing tournament in Montreal, the Spaniard finally decided to be back, resuming his run with the Cincinnati Masters. As he stepped onto the hard courts for a practice session, his concern for the kids being pushed by adults drew immense attention.
Recently, TennisTV’s official X handle shared a video in which the Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz can be seen interacting with his young fans. While he was busy lending his time to the little ones, they were pushed by adult fans who were also eager to meet and greet the young champion. While a majority of the athletes don’t really care about how all of this is managed, Alcaraz saw it as his own responsibility to urge for decorum.

“Guys there are kids! There are kids in front alright Don’t push alright,” the 21-year-old can be seen saying in the video. The fans therefore respected his call and maintained silence so that the young ones could have their moment with the champion. This was mainly because the Spaniard understood the value of dreaming as a kid.

The 21-year-old grew up watching matches of Rafael Nadal and therefore had a dream of sharing the court with him. “My childhood dream was to play with Rafa, to learn up close from him, and it’s come true,” he said in an interview. Alcaraz was successful in making his dream come true as the Paris Olympics saw him taking down the rivals alongside the “King of Clay”.
Although he couldn’t manage to bring a medal in the doubles category, Alcaraz still went to live the moment that he imagined as a kid. However, this wasn’t the only moment when the 21-year-old blessed kids by giving them their fanboy moments.

The Madrid Open 2024 saw Carlos Alcaraz swiftly rise up to the top until he faced an unexpected defeat against Andrey Rublev. During his campaign, the tennis star took time to meet one of his superfan who waited for him among a crowd of thousands. The kid carried a white colored flag which was meant to showcase his love for the young champion.

Alcaraz not only just met him but also took a marker to drop an adorable message for him on the flag. “For Izan with love,” the Spaniard wrote, giving his super fan a memory for a lifetime. A glimpse of this incident was proudly shared by Mutua Madrid Open’s official Instagram page which notable attention from fans as well as the members of the tennis community. As Alcaraz continues to write his name on trophies, history books, and on the hearts of the fans, his path to becoming a tennis great appears to be more clear.
