Tennis is an entertaining sport to watch. The game with racket and ball has produced some extraordinary performances from across the player base. However, recently one of these performances was affected by an external source – wind.
At the ATP Antalya Challenger, happening in Turkey, players found it uncomfortable to play due to the high gaze of wind. Fortunately, this concern was addressed by cancelling the match.

Wild wind in a Tennis match
At the ATP Antalya Challenger Cup, which is a clay court tournament, young tennis players are giving their all. However, their dedication was hindered by wild winds that had enveloped the city.
In a match between Cem Ilkel and Ivan Nedelko, the wind took so many turns, it changed the course of the game. At one point, Ilkel, the Turkish tennis player misjudged the ball, and it accidentally hit the top edge of the racket. However, he ended up grabbing a point as the wind took the turn and the ball was called in.
Luckily, taking under consideration the strong winds, the match between Ilkel and Nedelko was officially suspended. The number one seed, Cem Ilkel of Turkey, was leading against his Russian counterpart by 2-1.

This was definitely a funny sight to watch, and was also heavily trolled by fans online. Both players must certainly be relieved after suspension of the match. The match will be rescheduled and this should allow players to be even more prepared for their forthcoming rematch.
