Murray prepares for the Masters 1000 Madrid
Today, Murray took to his Instagram, putting up stories. The stories were a video of the former World No. 1 practicing on the red surface. Even though the video in both the stories was the same, the Brit player decided to play with the filters. In the first story, Andy Murray posted the video using the chromatic filter.
He captioned the story, “Better with or without the filter?” The story had Andy’s mother, Judy Murray, giving some insights from the background. Addressing that, Murray wrote, “Sorry about my mother’s running commentary.”

Andy Murray’s past records at the Madrid Open
Murray has played a total of 11 times on the courts of Madrid. He first appeared in the ATP Masters 100 Madrid in 2006, facing a third-round loss to Novak Djokovic. A similar sight was seen in 2007 when he lost to Nadal in the third round.
However, even after failing to have positive results in the first two appearances, Murray refrained from giving up. The result? The Brit player came back stronger than ever in 2008. Receiving a first-round bye, Murray went on to beat Federer in the semifinals, going on to win his maiden Madrid title.
