Alexander Zverev in the 2021 season
Zverev has had quite a topsy-turvy season so far. Even though he has got some starts at many different tournaments, he has failed to convert them on most occasions. He began his campaign brilliantly as he reached the quarters of the Australian Open 2021 but lost to Novak Djokovic there.
His most famous win this year came up against World No.3 Rafael Nadal when he crushed the Spaniard in straight sets at the Mutua Madrid Open 2021. The German went on to win the Masters tournament as well. However, even after some terrific form on clay, he failed to make an impact at the French Open 2021 as he lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semis of the tournament.
