Rafael Nadal had a dream start to the 2022 season after an injury-laden last year. He opened the year by winning the Australian Open title. It was a special performance by the Spaniard in the summit clash against Daniil Medvedev. The former World Number 1 came back from two sets down to prevail over Medvedev and lift his 21st Grand Slam title. Subsequently, he also won the French Open title to add another major title to his kitty.

During the early days of his career, Nadal was fond of wearing sleeveless T-shirts. He often flexed his muscles while dominating his opponents on the tennis court. He once revealed why he was fond of wearing a t-shirt with no sleeves.

During a post-match interview at the Australian Open, Nadal was asked why he chose to wear sleeveless t-shirts. Replying to this question with a smile, Nadal said, “Well, I don’t know. I am comfortable like this. You like it?”
Further, the interviewer said, “I think you look good this way. I like it, it’s good. For me, it works, for me, it’s good, but I’ll tell you when I’m walking on the street this morning for my coffee, a woman, she comes to me and she says listen, Rafa is playing tonight. Please ask him because I miss it to show me the muscles one more time.”
Subsequently, Nadal pulled his sleeve up and flexed his muscles. As Nadal the Spaniard flexed his muscles, the crowd cheered for him which put a big smile on his face.

The Spanish sensation became the youngest player since Nadal to make it to the top 5 of the ATP rankings. With his runner-up finish in Hamburg, he jumped a spot to become the fifth-best player in the world.
