Daniil Medvedev has had a strange 2022 season. After defeating Novak Djokovic in the US Open final last year, many expected big things from him this year. However, he hasn’t had the best of seasons. Earlier this year, he lost in the final of the Australian Open against Rafael Nadal after being two sets up. Subsequently, he has had an up-and-down form this season. His only title in 2022 came at the ATP 250 tournament in Los Cabos, Mexico.
