The 27-year-old began the year by winning the Australian Open men’s doubles title. Partnering with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis, the pair won their maiden Grand Slam title. Subsequently, he had a decent showing at the Sunshine Double in Indian Wells and Miami.

The 27-year-old took to Instagram to engage in a question-and-answer session with his fans. During the session, one of the fans asked him, “When are you marrying coz?” Subsequently, Kyrgios replied, “Very soon,” along with a heart and a ring emoji.
Last month, Kyrgios celebrated his 27th birthday. On this occasion, his girlfriend penned down a heartfelt note. She said, “Happy birthday to the most incredible human I have ever met. I am so lucky to have you & forever grateful for everything you have done for me. Your selflessness & care is unmatched. I can’t wait to do life with you & travel the world together, I love you today & forever… @k1ngkyrg1os my squish.”

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on inspiring players like Kyrgios
The French tennis star is playing the last tournament of his illustrious career at the French Open. During one of the recent episodes of the ATP Podcast, Tsonga explained how he was a role model for many players on the tour. He said, “Gael Monfils said that I was a role model and for me, it was important to be this role model I wanted to be. Today, I have some players like Felix Auger-Aliassime, I inspire those guys. I inspire guys like Nick Kyrgios. They are completely different.”
