Novak Djokovic is back in action to keep the tennis fire blazing inside him. The world number two tennis player is back on the court after a month of suffering a devastating defeat in SW19. But the real issue remains: is he really over that setback? Recently, in an interview with ATP, just before the Cincinnati Open, the Serbian tennis player shared his opinion on how he was practically over the defeat in no time.
He said, “It’s not the first [nor] the last match that I lost, so I was over it in a day. Obviously, I needed some really good rest after that, and some time with my family, and that’s what I did. So, of course, I was regretting not using the chances during that final.”
In addition, he also said that there were some mistakes on his end, but at the end of the day, the Spaniard’s victory was deserved. However, let’s take a look at the other side of the story when Djokovic was in Alcaraz’s position and Federer was the one who was defeated 4 years ago.
