29-year-old Lucas Pouille was once World No. 10 in the ATP Tour rankings. However, in 2019, an elbow injury derailed his career. Pouille underwent surgery and required several months of rehabilitation to make his comeback. He managed to return to action in 2021, but by then, his ranking was a far cry from the World No. 10 he achieved back in 2018. During his time on the sidelines, Pouille also fell prey to depression and turned to alcohol to cope with his mental health issues. Most recently, Pouille made it to the main draw of the 2023 French Open. Even though the Frenchman crashed out following his round of 64 defeat at the hands of Briton Cameron Norrie, his performances conveyed to tennis fans that his injury and mental health nightmares were well and truly behind him.

However, in a shocking recent development, it has come to light that the tennis star’s home was robbed. The burglars got away with several luxury watches and jewelry. It’s yet another setback for Pouille, who is only just rediscovering his form after multiple underwhelming and traumatic years.
