Nick Kyrgios has again attracted public scrutiny once again. But this time it is not because of his on-court outburst or anything. A sportswriter took to his Twitter to bash the Australian player for playing in Saudi Arabia for money. However, Kyrgios was not ready to take the criticism for no reason at all. So, he retorted back by shutting the user down in a sweet but sharp response.

People pointed fingers at Kyrgios for playing in a high-end event that was paying him well instead of playing with the Australian team at the Davis Cup.

We know the Australian player for his no-filter attitude. He is always very direct with his responses and that is exactly what he did when a Twitter user bashed him for playing in a Saudi Arabian tournament for cash. Obviously, Kyrgios retorted. He commented, “You have a problem with us playing in Saudi? It’s a beautiful place?”

When the sportswriter continued his criticism, Kyrgios stated, “So salty no need to be b**t hurt that I’m getting paid well for doing what I love around the world. Carry on.”
This is not the first time that Kyrgios shunned the critics on the same issue. When he announced he will not be a part of the Davis Cup as he was preparing for a tournament in Saudi Arabia, people criticized him.

Nonetheless, this did not go well with the player and he sarcastically remarked that he did it for the money they were paying. He clarified later that he wanted to go to new places and did it for fans.
Kyrgios on abandoning Davis Cup
Nick Kyrgios left the Australian team alone in exchange for a tournament in Saudi Arabia. When his teammates tried to persuade him to join the team, he boasted about his six-figure pay on Twitter. Now, this received a lot of criticism from the tennis fraternity. The country made its first appearance in a Davis Cup final for the first time in its 19-year history, but the Canadian team proved too powerful for Australia.
