Ready to defy the odds, Rafael Nadal is set to complete what he left behind. After 12 months of hiatus, the 22-time Grand Slam champion is trying his best to reach his best form, leaving no stone unturned. Everyone in the tennis arena is looking forward to the 37-year-old tennis legend’s comeback. While there are a lot of eyes waiting to see how his first match after 12 months comes out to be, he, on the other hand, is striving to give his best. While the tournament is just a couple of days away, he also had a practice session with the 8th-seeded tennis player.

Subsequently, nearly a week after the training session, Rune, in a pre-tournament press conference in Brisbane, talked about how he is left in awe of Nadal’s level and intensity of preparation. He said, “It’s funny, like after the practice I talked to my team, and I thought he played unbelievably. We were hitting. He was hitting strong. He always used to hit strong. Then we started points and I thought he was moving very well, moving side to side extremely fast. I think the intensity he brings is incredible.”

In addition, the Dane also talked about how intense the Spaniard’s practice looked ahead of the Brisbane International. Further, he also detailed his form and how it was a tough session for him at the end of the day. Rune stated that the training session with the 22-time Grand Slam champion was one of the most fierce pre-seasons he’s had in the last half year.
