Roger Federer has always managed to keep up his charming and dapper personality throughout his career. Even during his heydays, the Swiss tennis legend was quite particular about his clothing for special occasions. Notably, the 20-time singles Grand Slam champion always favored Elisabeth Piner, the renowned fashion stylist and designer, who had her own “pop-up shop” in one of the posh sections of the All England Club. Speaking about one of her oldest clients, Piner recently brought to light a ‘sweet’ anecdote that showed the 41-year-old tennis legend’s then-fiancée, Mirka’s conundrum at the Wimbledon Ball.
For the past three decades or so, she has elegantly designed stunning outfits for the Wimbledon champions who have been attending a special ceremony in Southwest London.

Reminiscing about the incident in an interview with telegraph.co.uk, Piner said that Mirka had to call her partner as she was quite skeptical about her outfit.
She added, “He came down and waited outside the changing room, just to approve of the dress!”
During the conversation, she further revealed Federer’s mother has also been a regular customer of her “pop-up shop.” Piner revealed, “‘I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I would always come to you,’ because she was superstitious. ‘It brings me good luck.’”
