Believe it or not, Roger Federer seemed to have a lot of connections with the recently concluded online trading tournament – the FlowBank Championship. Swiss online bank Flowbank conducted a first-of-its-kind month-long financial trading competition with its grand finale being held in Zurich just a few days back. One of the hosts of this event was Severin Luthi, the current ambassador of FlowBank and a former coach of the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer.
But the event’s Roger Federer connection doesn’t end here. A certain 20-year-old Danish ATP star and a self-proclaimed Roger Federer fanboy – Holger Rune, was also revealed to be a part of the FlowBank Championships.

Both Holger Rune and Alexander Zverev had pretty decent runs at the French Open – Rune reached the quarterfinals while Zverev made the semis, with both losing to Norwegian Casper Ruud. Participating in an event like the FlowBank championships might serve as the perfect opportunity to regroup and act as a much-needed breather for them as Wimbledon is right around the corner.
