The young player went pro not long ago and is already making headlines. He recently achieved a record that even puts him above his Swiss predecessors.
Stricker was able to achieve his current feat because of his biggest defeat of this year. But this is not the only time the player has managed to attain a record not held by Federer. His first feat came in 2021, which saw him surpass the Swiss Maestro in one aspect.

Dominic Stricker is playing beyond expectations in the US Open. The 21-year-old wonderkid has managed to go past the qualifiers into the round of 16 while beating a top 10 player, Stefanos Tsitsipas, on the way. In 2021, Stricker turned pro and aimed to revive the hopes of Swiss fans. The 18-year-old player eyed big records and performed to the best of his abilities on the court. One of his first championships was the 2021 Gstaad Open, where he played doubles with Marc-Andrea Huesler. With Huesler, he won the championship, effectively becoming the youngest player to lift the Open title.
