Soon after Djokovic was able to secure a lead, he had to face the wrath of Geneva’s harsh bright sun shining at 21 degrees as he was seen shaking because of a probable illness. In an attempt to quickly aid the condition and resume the match, the tennis star had to rely on an ice towel, which he tightly wrapped around his head to seek relief.

The Serb has already suffered enough in the ongoing season. Besides being unable to lay his hands on a single trophy, he also had to struggle to secure notable positions in the recent clay court tournaments. While flashbacks started to hit as soon as he faced a setback in the ongoing match, he vented out his frustration, saying, “What else can happen, really, is it not enough?”

As Djokovic found himself in a struggling situation, his rival took the opportunity to secure the lead by getting the first set in his name. However, the Serb also didn’t seem to be ready to give up easily. Amid the struggling situation, he managed to rise up and seize the opportunity to turn the tables by winning the second set, without giving even a single point to his opponent.

With the odds being against him because of the sudden illness, Djokovic lost the third set to his Czechian rival, making him reactionless to the victory.
