The 27-year-old American tennis pro, Chris Eubanks, scripted an incredible story of resilience and perseverance at the Wimbledon Championships. As the 27-year-old is deeply religious and comes from a quite religious family, in an interview with Today, after scripting history at Wimbledon, he opened up about how faith somewhere helped him deal with stressful situations. He also revealed an example, stating how he was juggling a lot to enter the top 100 on the ranking board.
He said, “If I’m meant to be a top 100 player. I’ll get there in my own time, and if I’m meant to be a top 50 player, I’ll get there my own time. But for so long, I tried to force it and I wanted it so so bad.”
Further, he also highlighted how having faith isn’t really as easy as people think it is. Currently, he is ranked in the 43rd position after juggling a lot of years being outside of the top 100.
However, in the past 12 months, he has seen himself rise up in the ATP ranking in an amazing manner. And now, after reaching the Wimbledon quarterfinals and facing a defeat against Daniil Medvedev, he is getting used to the idea that he is now a Wimbledon quarterfinalist.

The 27-year-old has a deep cultural background in addition to his tennis prowess, considering his father is a Baptist minister. In a post-match conference during Wimbledon, he admitted that being a preacher’s kid, whenever he had tournaments, he frequently missed a lot of Sunday services due to his practices.
