American tennis star Tommy Paul is enjoying the best time of his tennis career. While he has been among the most promising stars on the ATP Tour, the 27-year-old is living up to this tag by putting on consistent performances across tournaments this year. This eventually bore fruit and he reached his first clay-court Masters semifinal at the ongoing Italian Open. Ahead of his big last 4 encounter, Paul’s girlfriend shared a motivational message for him.
Paul is due to face Nicolas Jarry in the semifinal in Rome. Hours before the match, he took to his official Instagram handle and shared glimpses of his time in the tournament, alongside reminding his fans of his upcoming semifinal match. Wishing her boyfriend all the good luck for his match, Paul’s girlfriend, Paige Lorenze commented, “Forza Lazioooooooooo!!!”

Meanwhile, Lorenze has always been behind Paul and supported him during his matches. However, on this occasion, she couldn’t be with her boyfriend during a crucial encounter.
Tommy Paul won’t have Paige Lorenze cheering for him from the stands in Rome
The ongoing Italian Open is one of the rare tournaments in which Paul won’t have his girlfriend in his box. Paige Lorenze has often been spotted cheering for Paul from the stands. However, she is currently occupied with Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit event and as a result, won’t be able to make it to Rome.

Recently, she also shared some glimpses of her outfits for the event on her official Instagram handle. Nonetheless, despite her busy schedule, Lorenze will back her boyfriend from a distance as he prepares to face Nicolas Jarry.
Lorenze’s support has been crucial for Paul as seen in the past cases. Following Paul’s inspiring Indian Wells run where he reached the last 4, Lorenze expressed that she was proud of her boyfriend and thanked the tournament for being a wonderful host. As a result, Paul will be missing her support when he faces Jarry in Rome. Will that come back to affect his performance during the Italian Open semifinal?
