The 14-time French Open champion has admitted often that he enjoys golf and prefers it over training in gym. Recently, before making a comeback to the tour after a medical procedure on his foot, Nadal enrolled himself in the Balearic Golf Championship.

Even last year, after cutting his season short because of his foot injury, the Spaniard took part in the event. He ended up second in the tournament, 12 points behind the winner.

The Rafael Nadal Academy came into life in 2016 and has already become one of the leading sports centre in the world. The former World no.1, via his academy, created unique strategies and training systems based on his experience on the ATP tour. Currently, two players from the academy have broken into the top 100 in the ATP ranking.
The most prominent among the two is the 2022 Geneva Open champion and French Open finalist, Casper Ruud. The Norwegian young blood after the Grand Slam of clay claimed the ranking of World No.5 and has a very good chance of climbing further, as he recently won the Swiss Open.
