Despite having two match points, Zverev couldn’t convert it into a comprehensive victory and bowed out of the tournament, in dramatic fashion.
Subsequently, with an unreal performance, Fritz has now entered his first semi-finals at the ATP 1000 Masters tournament. The American will next face Nikoloz Basilashvili for a spot in the finals. Moreover, it looks like Taylor Fritz has fully recovered from his knee surgery as he graciously progressed into the final 4 of the competition.

In the on-court interview, he stated, “I really wanted to make him have to close me out, and I was able to get back into the match.
