Alexander Bublik, the 24-year-old young blood, is currently taking part in the Monte Carlo Masters, and what a start he has given to the game. The Kazakhstani was put up against former world no.3 Stan Wawrinka in the second round of the tournament. After a long strive, he clinched victory over the swiss.

Along with his gameplay, he spoke about the recent increase in restrictions on the players in his post-match conference.
Alexander Bublik Isn’t Happy With the New Rules
Alexander Bublik frankly addressed the matter when anchor Prakash Amritraj brought it up while speaking to him post his win. Though he seemed quite upset with the game, becoming stricter than ever.
He said, “What are we here for? I mean, what they are here for to watch guys with suits walking on courts. This is sports. It is supposed to be a bit of emotion and they try to put us in, you know, in some kind of cage. We cannot talk.”
Although Bublik believes rules are important for tennis as it’s a gentleman’s game, he is against rules that will tie their hands. “I am not a fan of it. I think we should have more room. Of course, there has to be some rules that we have to follow, but it happens.”

The no.1 Kazakhstani player, Bublik, fought tooth and nail in the three-set long match against Wawrinka. Although he initially was all over the place and lost his first set 3-6, he managed to gather his thoughts in the second set.
Thus, keeping himself alive and winning the set 7-5. As he already had gained momentum in the former set, he took an easy win of 6-2 in the third set.

Bublik Shares His Views About Nick Kyrgios
Nick hit the headlines repeatedly as he let his temper take control of his actions during the matches of the sunshine double this year. Although Bublik seems to not back his actions, he spoke about what Nick brings to the game.
He said, “I am 24 years old and I can see that who brings attendance to the game, who brings fans. Who brings fans to the doubles? Have you ever seen doubles fans? No. He brings doubles fans.”
