Taylor Fritz failed to achieve his promise of securing a spot in the ATP Finals’ last eight because of his recent diminished performance. Expressing his strong broken desire to fight for a potential Turin spot, Fritz’s tweet conveyed his health situation. Unfortunately, the diagnosis marked an inability to participate in the Paris Masters and therefore, ruled out any chance of him making it to the year capping tournament.

In his tweet, Fritz stated, “All I wanted was the chance to fight for my potential Turin spot but after getting scans today on my oblique it’s just not possible for me to play. Time to rehab and hope to be back on court as soon as I can be.” While the injury marked his canceled chance of making it to Turin, the young star didn’t let his hopes die but presented a light response to the whole situation.
