He does his part of it and I do mine. I remember when him and I first met within the first week or two, one of the things that he told me is I just want tennis to be cooler in our generation. It’s just not,” she said in that interview.

In one of her TikTok videos, Morgan Riddle claimed “I know tennis is relatively uncool and unknown in America.” This video went viral and there were a few set of fans who literally took a jibe at her for making such statements. During that time, we saw Taylor Fritz stepping up to defend his girlfriend.

He said, “I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it. I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it. I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it. I’m the one that’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one that does this for a living.
