During that conversation, he opened up about the bond Alcaraz and Sinner share on and off the court. Cahill said, “Two young, great kids, not just on the court but off the court as well. Their friendship is real.”

Further, he went on to add, “They both respect each other and like each other and you’ll see that on the court tomorrow regardless of who wins. I think these two young men are going to play each other many, many times in the next 10 years and this is just another part of their rivalry. I’m looking forward to it.”
Of late, both Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have found much success. At the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, the Spaniard defeated Novak Djokovic in the summit clash to win the title. On the other hand, Sinner tasted his first Grand Slam success at the 2024 Australian Open. Due to massive success early on in their careers, the Sinner-Alcaraz pair is often compared to the Federer–Nadal duo.
