Now, he is gearing up for yet another thrilling US Open final with Novak Djokovic. Though the tennis realm is taking time to process it all, former coach of Serena Williams, Rennae Stubbs, is all up for it.

The tussle between the newer and the veteran generation has been going on for some time. However, Medvedev has laid all that to rest. Now, the world gears up for yet another thrilling face-off between the two after 2021.

The former coach of Serena Williams could not have been more thrilled about this face-off amidst the rising debates about Gen Z gradually asserting their presence on the circuit. The tennis coach took to her Twitter to share her verdict as she celebrated Medvedev’s victory over Alcaraz.

She stated, “Meddy v Djokovic wowza! Going to be a great final.” Noting how both Djokovic and Medvedev took down their Gen Z opponents, she hailed their performance. Moreover, she added, “The men took care of the young men today!”

However, Djokovic did not go easy on Ben Shelton even after he scored a decisive victory against him. The celebration of his victory depicted a clear dominance over his opponent.

Taking down America’s last hope for the US Open title in the men’s category, Djokovic stuck to his victory till the end. After his mammoth victory over Shelton, the celebration too came in pretty noteworthy.

Djokovic mimicked Shelton’s celebration of listening on a cell phone and keeping it down. The crowd roared in excitement as they celebrated Djokovic’s entry into the US Open finals, noting how the older generation is still ‘dialed in’ on the game.
