Novak Djokovic hates staying away from the top spot of men’s tennis! He has recently witnessed Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz pushing him down the points to third spot. Although he is back to number two in the world, Djokovic is aiming to get his crown back from the Italian. However, to get to that spot he needs to play matches, and to play matches he needs to be fit. After sustaining a knee injury (a torn meniscus) while playing in the fourth round of the 2024 French Open, he underwent knee surgery in Paris. While everyone assumes he’s gonna miss this year’s Wimbledon, the Serb was recently spotted training at SW19. Is it a miracle or something else?
The tennis world was ecstatic to see him practice on the lush green grasses of London. However, sources close to Novak Djokovic’s team have revealed shocking details that could change the perception of his return to the courts. According to several media reports, the former world number-one tennis star could have used unconditional and potentially prohibited methods to speed up his recovery.
However, nothing has been confirmed yet. However, these reports have started to unleash rumors and speculation surrounding Djokovic in the tennis world. Previously it was reported that he underwent an oxygen treatment after his surgery to heal the injuries faster. He desperately wants to get fit before the Wimbledon and Paris Olympics.

In an interview to BBC, Djokovic said, “I didn’t come here to play a few rounds. You can never really know 100 percent once you start a tournament what’s going to happen after eventual first match or second match.” He emphasized that he wants to take the recovery process day by day and decide based on his and his teammates’ assessment.
“If I know that I can play close to my maximum, or at maximum, then I’ll play. If not, then I’ll give somebody else the chance to play,” Novak Djokovic added. The Serb has already regained a higher spot than Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s singles ranking. Can he now reclaim the Wimbledon crown this year?
