Love is in the air for Grigor Dimitrov! The Bulgarian player is soon going to take on Andrey Rublev in the round of 16 match at the US Open. Perhaps, his infectious energy on the tennis courts comes from a happy place in his personal relationship, as his latest rumored romance has fans buzzing! The 33-year-old, whose high profile dating history includes high-profile personalities like Maria Sharapova, and Nicole Scherzinger, and Serena Williams, might now have landed on the island of love! 

In May this year, Grigor parted ways with a Romanian actress and model, Madelina Ghenea. The former World No. 3 player was enjoying his single life until he met the ‘Love Island’ reality TV Show winner, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. “It’s a coupling you would never have expected walking the streets of Paris.”

As per Daily Mail, the 30-year-old reality star has been spotted with the 33-year-old Bulgarian tennis player in London, Paris, and Monte Carlo, sparking rumors of a new romance. It’s believed they were introduced by mutual friends earlier this summer.

Ekin-Su has been discreet about her relationship with Grigor Dimitrov, often opting for secret meetings outside the UK. However, the couple was recently spotted together in Paris, confirming their ongoing romance. An onlooker told MailOnline: “They were just casually walking together in Paris, taking pictures with fans, and they were so friendly. They were just trying to lay low, they weren’t trying to attract attention. But they are just hanging out, they looked good together.”

In January this year, the British actress split with Davide Sanclimenti after the couple dated for 18 months. Point to note: the then-couple won the “Love Island,” in 2022. While she described her time with Sanclimenti as “a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship”, it seems she is ready to explore romance with Dimitrov. 

The onlooker further described their Paris meet-up as, “But they were just hanging out, they looked good together, she was smiling and laughing, and they just looked like we were having fun. Ekin-Su seemed really relaxed, it was obvious there was chemistry, and you couldn’t help but notice them. They looked really comfortable in each other’s company.”

On the tennis front, the Bulgarian tennis player had his sights set on back-to-back tournaments, as he made a quarterfinal run in the French Open, and also competed in the round of 16 match in the Wimbledon championships.

The Bulgarian was most recently linked to fellow tennis star Alize Lim after he was pictured taking her for a drive in his Lamborghini sports car in Monaco in April. Seems like it was all smoke and no fire. And before that, he had to go through a tough breakup with Ghenea.

In fact, in May this year, the 37-year-old actress took to her Instagram and shared the news, “It feels like the right moment to clarify that Grigor and I have decided to go our own separate ways.” Further adding, Ghenea wrote, “Please respect our privacy and don’t believe what you read in the media I am grateful for the time we spent together, both as dear friends and as partners, for the last 6 years. Due to our tough schedules, events and responsibilities, [split] was the best way forward.”

And after four months, Grigor Dimitrov is perhaps embarking on a new journey of love. Point to note: both Cülcüloğlu and Dimitrov are yet to comment on their rumored romance.
