Daniil Medvedev’s name is currently dominating every major tennis headline. The Russian rightfully deserves all the praise after his recent success at the Rolex Paris Masters 2020 and the ATP Finals 2020. However, renowned journalist and tennis analyst, Steve Flink, recently said in an interview that Daniil Medvedev was not attractive or beautiful to watch at all while playing.

At a time when almost everyone is praising the World No.4, Flink’s comments came as a surprise for the fans. Flink, a Sampras fan for long, said that Medvedev didn’t look like Thiem, Djoker, or Rafa at all.

“Honestly (I don’t mean to offend) he doesn’t even look like Djokovic, Nadal, or Thiem. He’s a great player, but aesthetically he’s the least beautiful to watch,” said Steve Flink.

“He’s tall, has a weird grip on the forehand. However, he is an excellent tennis player,” added the American sports journalist.

Though Medvedev has not been able to impress Flink that much, the journalist admitted that he would be a great player. The Russian’s unbeaten streak so far is evidence of how well he can play under pressure. Interestingly, he won the ATP Finals after defeating the top 3 ATP players.
