Now she takes a stand for Taylor Swift as the pop singer faced criticism for attending rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce’s matches.

In a recent interview, Riddle was asked about how much she resonated with Taylor Swift following Swift’s famous “dads, Brads, and Chads” statement, Riddle’s response surprised her fans. She said-“Yes, 100%. I literally posted an Instagram story about it recently because I was looking at all this stuff about her going to the Super Bowl. ESPN posted a photo of them, and the comments were just disgusting. They were all things I’ve seen about myself so many times.”

She further added: “Across the board, there is a deep hatred and misogyny toward female athletes and female partners of athletes. And it’s really disappointing. I’m not going to go online and defend myself, but I will go online and defend another woman.”

Morgan Riddle’s response was for those people who criticize celebrities for attending their partner’s matches. For example, Taylor Swift was heavily criticized for attending rumored boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Superbowl. Now it is not Swift’s fault that the camera focused on her during the game.

Riddle tried to explain that having a famous partner does not always mean celebrity girlfriends wish to snatch the attention. It is the powerplay of media that intentionally portrays celebrities like Swift as negative for simply supporting her partner’s dreams.

In the same interview, Riddle took a dig at haters who criticize the partners of famous athletes. She said- “A lot of people have this idea that if you’re a WAG, you just follow your partner around, you don’t do anything, you live off of them, you don’t make your own money, you don’t have your own life.” 

Riddle’s statement expresses her bold attitude and positive outlook toward life. The way she supported Taylor Swift, it felt like Riddle is taking no more shit from the haters.
