Just recently, she posted a series of stories on her official Instagram channel about what she came across in China. The first story she posted was about how people in China serve hot water or warm water at restaurants instead of regular water. She wrote, “The hardest thing for me to get used to so far about China is when they give you water at a restaurant, it’s always served hot. Just plain hot water.

Coming from a different country, this ritual in China can be absurd for anyone. As usually at restaurants, the waiter asks what kind of water the guest would like. But Chinese people drink only hot water at restaurants, apparently. But that is not where her story ended. She also posted a research article about it on her Instagram story to explain the reason for the same.

After the hot water story, she posted another story from an article on Wikipedia. In the article, she highlighted a part of the context. The context was about the reason why people in China serve hot water instead of regular or cold water.

The reason highlighted was that hot or warm water balances the cold and humidity outside. It is also very beneficial for the human body as it flushes out toxic substances and also promotes healthy blood circulation.
