But just when fans thought they had seen it all, the tennis community was hit with a surprise.

As the final match takes the tennis enthusiasts to the edge of their seats, American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift has surprised the tennis community with her presence at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. She was spotted in a pink and white checked dress along with her footballer boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the couple walked hand-in-hand to spectate the thrilling encounter. Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle was herself amazed. 

Taking to her Instagram story, Riddle shared a picture of herself where she looked totally surprised to see Swift. Captioning the image, the influencer wrote, “Oh my god, mother is here.” Interestingly, Taylor Swift’s relationship with the US Open is not new. 

A 13-year-old Swift, who was practically unknown at the time, in 2002—more than two decades ago — had got the chance to perform the song, “America the Beautiful” at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, during the US Open. Hardly did anyone know that she would return for the tournament in such a grand manner and captivate all the fans with her presence.

Swift and her boyfriend have witnessed an eventful weekend meanwhile. They celebrated the Chiefs’ season-opening win on Thursday against the Ravens at an afterparty before visiting New York on Friday. The couple also enjoyed a dinner date in Brooklyn before attending model Karen Elson’s wedding at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village. As they make a surprising presence at the US Open now, Riddle’s amazement is justified given her love for the American singer.

Taylor Fritz’s Girlfriend Morgan Riddle is a huge fan of Taylor Swift

The American singer and songwriter has amassed a huge fanbase with her songs across the world. Swift’s fanbase includes several tennis players and their close ones, with Morgan Riddle being one of them.

Riddle and Fritz have often been spotted spending time together listening to the songs of Taylor Swift. When rain showers hit Fritz’s match against Tommy Paul at the Delray Beach Open this year, he was spotted resting with his girlfriend as the couple listened to the songs of Taylor Swift. Riddle has also expressed immense admiration for Swift on several other occasions. 

When Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department dropped, Riddle posted about it on Instagram, as she wrote, “have patiently waited to listen to cowboy carter until ttpd released and I have an apartment to deep clean all day. Adulting (morgans version).”

But for now, all eyes are on Taylor Fritz and Jannik Sinner. Can Fritz win the title and end the Grand Slam drought for America? Well, only time will tell.
