Roger Federer once succumbed to the ‘selfie trend’ with Australia’s most fun-loving animal, Quokka. During his participation in the 2017 Hopman Cup, the Swiss maestro’s cheeky selfie with a quokka went viral on social media. Now, joining the ‘Quokka selfie’ bandwagon, Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend Morgan Riddle has recently pulled off a similar pose.

While her tennis boyfriend star will be starting his campaign in Australia, the American influencer is exploring the gorgeous oasis of Rottnest Island. Meanwhile, Riddle also came across as ‘the happiest creature on the planet’ as she also emulated Federer’s iconic pose with a quokka.

In her recent Instagram stories, Morgan Riddle shared a carousel of pictures of herself posing with Australia’s most fun-loving animal. She also compared her selfie with Federer’s ‘Quokka selfie’ as she uploaded a collage with the caption, “Close enough.”

While sharing a picture of a Quokka in another post, the American influencer said, “‘Quokkas are known as the happiest animal on the planet’ and the only place in the world you can find them is on one little island near Perth. They have no natural predators, so they are super friendly and not scared of humans. It’s been on my bucket list for years to see one.”

Apart from her stories, Riddle also shared her heartfelt picture with a quokka and added the caption, “The happiest creature on the planet, and a quokka!”

Just like Federer and Riddle, another popular figure, Rafael Nadal has also aced the quokka selfie during one of his previous visits to the country.

A few seasons after Federer’s picture with Quokka, the ‘King of the Clay’ also pulled off a similar pose during his visit to town for the inaugural ATP Cup, preceding the 2020 Australian Open. While the Swiss Maestro’s quokka was facing the camera with a grin, the Spaniard’s ‘good friend’ refused to strike an elegant pose for him.
