The tennis world will probably never see the best of Briton Andy Murray ever again. Even though Murray is still active as a professional tennis player, injuries have blighted his form and fitness. As a result, on the tennis court, he is merely a shadow of his former self. There was a time when Murray was sitting pretty at the top of the ATP Tour rankings. However, those days seem to be long gone. During his days at the pinnacle of tennis, Murray was involved in a fiery rivalry with Swiss Maestro Roger Federer. While Murray rarely got the better of Federer on the tennis court, he often left the Swiss legend in splits with his dry and witty sense of humor. The Brit’s wit was on show again!
Murray made a habit of poking fun at Federer and recently, he had a go at the 20-time singles Grand Slam winner yet again. This time, Murray took to Twitter and made a hilarious dad joke that poked fun at both himself and Federer.

Murray has built up something of a reputation for himself for being an unconventional comedian in the tennis world. The Briton’s jokes are rib-ticklers to say the least, but the most astonishing thing is that he almost always keeps a straight face when cracking them.
The former World No. 1’s latest tweet promised to offer some parenting advice to his followers. However, his followers realized after reading the whole thing that it was actually a self-depreciating joke. The joke took a swipe at Roger Federer as well, albeit indirectly. Yet again, Murray’s witty sense of humor was on display as he casually wrote his tweet without even mentioning himself or Federer.
In his tweet, Murray wrote, “Little parenting tip for any new parents any new parents out there…don’t have 4 of them”.

Murray followed this up with a laughing emoji. Most probably, the target of his tweet was not just himself, but the Swiss maestro as well. After all, Federer has four children with his wife Mirka. Murray, too, is a father to four children.

When it comes to dad jokes, Andy Murray reigns supreme in the tennis world
Despite repeatedly mocking Roger Federer over the years, the fact is that the pair share a relationship of mutual respect and admiration. Murray once claimed that he played the best tennis of his life against Federer. Murray was also present at Federer’s final appearance on the tennis court at the 2022 Laver Cup.
Federer recently also pointed to Murray’s uncanny ability of coming up with hilarious dad jokes. Federer’s insights into Murray’s ability came via his ‘#AskRF’ fan interaction session on Twitter. During the session, a fan asked Federer, who cracks the best dad jokes between Federer himself, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. Federer’s answer revealed that it’s Murray who’s the undisputed dad joke champion.
