“This is the best I’ve felt in 2 years,” said Nick Kyrgios while announcing his highly anticipated tennis comeback. Out of the court because of an injury, the Aussie suggested that he would give it one last try before calling it quits. However, with his comeback on the cards, what fans are more excited about is his rivalry with Jannik Sinner. Ever since Jannik Sinner faced doping allegations, the Australian has let no shot slip and poked the Italian on multiple occasions.

While this was not it, Kyrgios warned Jannik Sinner ahead of the Australian Open clash. In the latest Nothing Major podcast, the Aussie star confessed his plans to face the world number 1 at home. Kyrgios expressed excitement about a potential matchup with Jannik Sinner, stating he’d show no mercy and fully dominate the Italian.

Speaking on the podcast, the 29-year-old revealed his strategy. He plans to rally the entire crowd to create an intense, hostile atmosphere, aiming to throw Sinner off his game. Kyrgios admitted he’d turn the situation into chaos, describing it as a “riot,” where he’d disregard respect and do whatever it takes to secure victory.

Expressing concerns over Nick Kyrgios’s statements, fans joined hands in slamming the Aussie superstar. One fan suggested, “Do something  @atptour @AustralianOpen. This isn’t what we need to see. Suspend him.”

Nick Kyrgios and Jannik Sinner have faced each other only once, and the Italian came out on top in straight sets at the 2022 Miami Open. Another fan joined the debate and suggested that it does not matter if the crowd goes Kyrgios’ way, the Italian would still find a way to beat him. “And Sinner would still go on to destroy him,” said the fan. Regarding the 2024 year, Jannik Sinner had a 53-3 record and a 94% winning percentage. With hard courts being his favorite, he would still be the guy to beat.

This fan went beyond the limits to fire shots at the Aussie star for his statements. “I genuinely hope this happens so Sinner can humiliate him after ALL HIS ARROGANT AND BOLD CLAIMS. Honestly need to embarrass kyrgios off this platform,” said the fan while expressing dissatisfaction over the statements made by the Aussie pro.

Ever since Jannik Sinner’s doping saga came into the limelight, Nick Kyrgios has hounded the Italian over the allegations . While openly calling out Sinner a ‘doper‘, he has also demanded a ban for the Italian. However, with his final hearing in WADA remaining, it will be interesting to see how things unfold.

Nick Kyrgios erupted after an umpire’s walkie-talkie interruption, criticizing officials and receiving a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. He later clashed with umpire Carlos Bernardes, accusing him of unfair treatment.

“It’s a joke. He is a joke. Get rid of every single staff and start over. Everything. I will run the sport. I could do 100x a better job. Marketing. Everything. You guys have no idea. None. You guys can’t even ref right,” said the Aussie.
