‘Surviving and Fighting With Your Brothers’ – Andre Agassi’s Son Dished Out a Brave Reason Behind Not Opting the Sport His Father ‘Hated’

The 8-time singles Grand Slam champion, Andre Agassi, and his German tennis star wife, Steffi Graf are renowned for their incredible dominating performances on the court. Throughout their illustrious tennis journey, the tennis couple has won 30 combined Grand Slam singles titles. Additionally, they have also inspired a number of young athletes to follow the path of tennis.

However, it’s not the same case for Agassi and Graf’s son, Jaden Agassi, who has his own athletic path. Jaden is much more inclined toward the game of baseball. Additionally, he once revealed the reason behind opting for the athletic path of baseball.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s son once talked about his own athletic path

Unlike his tennis parents, Jaden Agassi is smacking the ball in a different field of baseball. Jaden as a baseball player has inherited some athletic genes from his parents, Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf. However, he got inclined toward baseball rather than tennis.

Jaden as a young athlete still has plenty to achieve on the field of baseball, just as his tennis star parents, Agassi and Graf once achieved on the court. However, Jaden once talked about his choosing the athletic path of playing baseball rather than opting for tennis. The baseball player expressed his feelings towards his game as he stated, “I love baseball.”

Jaden went on to talk about the baseball journey and also the challenges that come along with it. He stated, “I love the teammates, surviving and fighting with your brothers. Every game comes with a new set of challenges, and I really love figuring those out.” Jaden’s coaches have always appreciated him and they further regard him as a young and talented baseball athlete who has the potential to reach unprecedented heights.

Agassi previously talked about his son’s baseball journey

The 8-time singles Grand Slam champion was hailed as one of the most promising and talented tennis players. However, his son, Jaden has chosen a different path in the sport of baseball. Agassi once talked about his son’s baseball journey as he stated, “Sooner or later, baseball will make that decision for him,”

The former American tennis player went on to say that Jaden’s composure and control of a game make him “shine on the bump.” Agassi further stated that he is really proud of Jaden and who he is. The former Wimbledon also said that he enjoys watching his son as a dedicated athlete. The American tennis star added that his son, Jaden has worked hard to earn his own path as a baseball player.
