According to recent news, the US government will loosen up a few restrictions regarding quarantine and maintaining social distance. This could be great news for Novak Djokovic and his chances of playing at the US Open at the end of this month.
However, the current rule will apply only to people currently residing in the US. However, this rule change could mean that the government is willing to change a few rules to help people.
Now, Djokovic has to play the waiting game to see if there’s a rule change regarding his participation. Earlier, he posted a video on his Instagram, where he was practicing hard on the tennis court. Also, he wrote an optimistic message in the caption, about not giving up on his dream of playing at this year’s US Open.

It has been a torrid season for Djokovic as he recently decided to stay out of Cincinnati Open as well, adding to the long list of tournaments that the former world no.1 has missed this year.
