Jimmy Connors also didn’t hold himself back from lauding the American football quarterback for the Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes. The former tennis ace stated, “They’ve won twice. Yeah, and and betting against the Mahomes. I mean, he just seems to win. You know, he’s, he’s a scrambler and he’s, he just, he just knows what it’s like to win. And his record, the last couple of years have proven that. I think again, you know, San Francisco, they’ve got a new guy back there. And I wonder how this big stage is going to go to affect him. But, you know, they’re, they’re pretty powerful on both sides of the ball, too.”
After giving his assessments of both teams, Connors finally picked his favorite by saying, “I’m taking Kansas City.” He said, “So, you know, two points, 47 points. I mean, and it’s in Las Vegas. So, you know, it’s kind of the neutral side. I mean, I’m going through all the ATM. You know, if this was, you know, a number of years ago, I’d have eight papers all over the pool table, you know, reading everything. But now since I don’t do that, I’m taking Kansas City.”
