Buckle your belts for the iconic rivalry that tennis has missed in the past year. Rafael Nadal is actively planning his return to the court, though he possibly isn’t aiming for Grand Slam glory right away. But tennis fans are already in for a treat as the Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic matches are only months away. The hype is surreal as the Serb dominated Rafa and has drastically turned the tables on Slam records, despite only barely edging him out on Head-to-Head numbers. But when Djoker equaled Serena Williams‘ Slam record, Nadal finally congratulated him after a long silence.

But when the Serb became the first male player to win 24 Slams, Nadal did not comment initially. But in his recent interview, the former World No.1  talked about the Serb’s glory and what made him a champion. But the ‘Nole Fam’ has turned against Rafa. As they focused only on the controversial half of the sentence, tennis fans ridiculed the Serb’s army for misinterpreting Rafa’s statements.

The ‘Nole Fam’ has always defended the Serbian legend as they constantly urge to prove Djoker as a legend. The Serbian etched a decisive line in the G.O.A.T. debate when he clinched his 24th Slam. While it is nothing short of a festival for fans, they are still trying to boost the World No. 1’s glory by ridiculing Rafa, which brutally backfired on them.Nole fam.

In an interview with a Spanish media giant, ‘Movistar,’ the 22 Slams holder stated that if Djoker did not set the record, it would frustrate him. He said, “Novak could be frustrated because he lives everything more intensely and that’s why he’s the best.” But a hardcore Djoker fan ignored Rafa, concluding that Djoker is the best.

Uploading the Spanish interview on ‘X,’ the fan wrote, “Nadal interviewed today, instead of finally congratulating Djokovic on extending his slams to 24 he said that Djokovic lives the grand slam race in a more intense way then him and it would have been a greater frustration for him if he didn’t achieve it.”

Fans were quick to defend the Spanish legend whose intent was only to admire Djoker. Tennis enthusiasts united to point out that the Nole fam cannot make peace with Rafa and Roger Federer attracting as much attention and affection as the Serb despite Djoker achieving more than his rivals.
