The Swiss player Stan Wawrinka, opened up about his choice of the greatest player in tennis. His pick probably sent waves of betrayal in the hearts of the fans of another Swiss player worldwide.
Stan Wawrinka has won three Grand Slam in total. He defeated rank one each time, Rafael Nadal, once, and Novak Djokovic twice. Wawrinka has played over eight hundred matches and won 16 ATP titles.

Whom did Stan Wawrinka choose?
In a recent interview, Stan Wawrinka talked about his pick for the greatest of all time in tennis, as shared by ‘Express’. As he made his pick, Wawrinka commended the big three for all the accomplishments they have achieved. The Swiss star, who has a close relationship with Roger Federer, snubbed his compatriot to pick the Serbinator, Novak Djokovic as his GOAT.
“Novak is the best current player and he has proven it in everything he has done for 20 years,” the three-time Grand Slam winner told RMC sports. “They broke all the records between him, Rafa and Roger.”
However, he gave due credit to Roger and Nadal for their contribution to the sport.

Wawrinka thought it was difficult to make a definite decision to make as Djokovic and Nadal were still active. But he stood firm in his judgment. With Djokovic and Nadal having an equal number of ATP titles, it is anyone’s guess as to who will push ahead.
