Diego Schwartzman opens up about his struggles

Even the toughest of players on the court are unable to give their best when someone close to them is ailing. While his father was critically ill, the 30-year-old could not focus on tennis. He was set to play against his compatriot Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the Cordoba tournament. Missing the match meant he would be out of  the Top 30 and lose his place as Argentina’s number one.
