The young American sensation Sebastian Korda played amazingly well at the ongoing Miami Open 2021. Even though the 20-year-old couldn’t enter the semis of the tournament, he showed that he has some great potential. He lost to Andrey Rublev in straight sets in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
After his defeat against Andrey Rublev, Sebastian Korda opened up on his relationship with former World No. 1 Andre Agassi. Fans have seen them spending time together since the last year.
“Yeah, I mean, we have a really special relationship together,” began Korda. “We built that over November/December. We spent a couple of weeks together, and we just hung out and talked.”

Korda revealed that Agassi is a special person to him and often assists him with his gameplay. He also mentioned that the 8-time Grand Slam champion helps him understand the tough situations on the court.
“Yeah, he’s a special person to me. He really helps my game, especially mentally and seeing the court and certain situations when I showed what I shouldn’t be doing,” added the American player.

Korda further reiterated the importance of Agassi in his life and emphasized that Agassi was an incredibly positive person.

“Yeah, he’s a great guy. He’s a really positive person around me, and I love positivity,” concluded the 20-year-old athlete.

Sebastian Korda has proved that he has got great gameplay. With his current form, he can prove to be a threat to other players. He’ll definitely want to play well and leave his mark on the upcoming clay-court season. With Agassi’s guidance, will Korda be able to lift the first title in his professional career this year?
