Novak Djokovic looked quite comfortable during the entire match. Even though he lost the first set, he managed to win 74% of his first-serve points and thus, made it really easy for himself in the last three sets.

What happened between Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick in the recent past?

After his pre-quarters match against Jenson Brooksby, Roddick complemented Djokovic and wrote that he first gets rid of his opponents’ legs and then takes away their souls as well. It was clearly his way of expressing that Djokovic is such a dominant player in the sport today.

In response, in the post-match press conference, Djokovic replied that he doesn’t take anyone’s soul. However, he agreed that he surely takes away the legs of his opponents and also thanked Roddick for his compliment.

The matter doesn’t seem to end as Roddick still believes that Nole is a sole collector. It is what he tried to reiterate in his latest tweet. It will be intriguing to see how ‘Djoker’ responds to this one now.
