Rafael Nadal and Perello’s venture

Nadal and his wife Perello joined hands with Henry Jacques to introduce a set of fragrances. “I’m a very public person in my work, of course, but in my private life, one of the most important things—and what I consider to be one of my greatest successes—is that Maria and I have been able to have a really normal life,” Nadal confessed.

“We’re taking the next step in our lives now, though, so we thought—why not do something together?” The former World no.1 and Perello welcomed their firstborn in October this year. They have been blessed with a son whom they named after his father.

Speaking of their collaboration with Henry Jacques, it will be a new experience for both parties. The brand standing strong since 1975 has never teamed up with anyone. Nadal, who has earlier promoted fragrances for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Lanvin, will be jumping on the market for the first time as well. The collection celebrating love and togetherness is aptly called ‘In All Intimacy’.

How Nadal performed in this season

The 36-year-old has had a year full of ups and downs. At first, he executed an illustrious 20-match win streak, securing an Australian Open trophy and a run to the finals of Indian Wells. However, he incurred a rib injury post the event and had to skip the Miami Open and the initial tournaments of the clay-court season.
