Recently, the Rafael Nadal Academy released an exciting video targeted to remind fans of Rafa’s anticipated comeback. The video, featuring Nadal hitting the training grounds with a restored form, recently showed up on almost all social platforms, intending to give fans an update on the Spaniard’s training sessions along with boosting their confidence in him.

As soon as the video started to trend on social media, being shared by Rafa himself, fans came up to share their reactions, however, contrary to what was expected. As the trail of negative comments started, a fan, lashing out over Rafa’s increased interest in creating videos and not focusing on his training, wrote, “Instead of taking”Cope” to a New Level, he took it to his video production staff.”

Another fan listed his perspective, indicating the video to be a pre-planned marketing move.

Another fan, calling Rafa desperate for attention because of the move, wrote, “Man is so desperate for attention. Why can’t he just show up and play like regular people lol.”

Another fan, echoing the statement of the Spaniard running for attention, commented a rather sarcastic paragraph.

As the trail of negative comments continued, a fan, using language that went beyond the appropriate track, said, “he has been coming for everyone in Wimbledon ever since. But this clay sweeping janitor couldn’t do shit when Novak is there.”

With these and several other comments imposing hate on Nadal’s latest marketing move in the form of an engaging video, the overall response came out to be quite the opposite of what the Academy expected. However, besides the video, another update on Rafa’s anticipated comeback also made its way on social media.
